Corner Shower Curtain Rod

If you have a space saving corner shower, you may have discovered that a standard tension rod doesn't work quite so well. You need something that will stay up in a corner. Fortunately they make just such a thing. There are actually several different styles of corner curtain rods, because you can have it bend in an L shape unevenly (one side longer than another), bend 90 degrees in the middle, or bend at 30-60 degree angles in two spots (like you're forming the bottom half of a hexagon).

They can be made of aluminum, chrome, brass, or stainless steel. Some are regular round rods that hang a standard shower curtain with hooks. Some have tracks where the hooks hang inside the track instead of going all the way around the rod. Pretty much all of these rods are permanently attached to the shower wall, and some even have ceiling supports due to their odd angles.

Kohler makes one that is specifically made for the Maytag corner space saving corner bath unit. If you have a uniquely unusual shower or bath configuration see if there is already a shower rod made for your exact setup. It makes it easier to get all the little details handled if what you need is preprovided for you. Otherwise check on Amazon or other large home improvement store to find the pieces you need.

The typical price range for this is anywhere from $25 to $200, which is quite a big range, but if you get a higher cost metal and more durable wall attachments it raises the price.
